2.Kingston: Lunch Cruise of Thousand Islands

★★★★★★★★★★4.5 · 212 reviews · 3 hours · from $76

Review of Kingston’s 3-hour Thousand Islands lunch cruise, with food, scenery, live music, practical tips, value, and who should book.

“The staff were fantastic. The food was very good. Overall it was too noisy for a relaxing day on the water. Between the person on the microphone (David was fantastic) the music and everyone talking in the dining room, it was very overwhelming. Perhaps the music could be just played on the main floor for people to go and enjoy if they choose? Or just some acoustics in the background.”

8.Kingston: Trolley City Tour

★★★★★★★★★★4.6 · 99 reviews · 1 hour · from $33

Review Kingston’s $33 trolley tour, with Queen’s University, Kingston Penitentiary, Fort Henry views, guide tips, and practical access details.

“Richard was pleasant, knowledgeable, humorous and imparted a real appreciation for Kingston. The trolley ride was about 75 mins which was just right to capture everyone’s attention. I would definitely recommend the Highlights Tour. My only suggestion is that it would be better to get the tickets for the tour upon online application instead of vouchers that, have to be replaced before going on the tour. It is not an efficient use of time for the visitor. Additionally literature sent to the visitor gives confusing info regarding meeting location.”

12.Kingston City Day Trip & 1000 Island Cruise

★★★★★★★★★★4.4 · 5 reviews · from $122

Review of the Montreal to Kingston and 1000 Islands day trip, with city sights, cruise details, transport advice, costs, and practical booking tips.

“I must have misunderstood that this was a boat tour to the 1000 islands. In this respect it was disappointing. Otherwise it was OK. The tour guide William was good. The bus was a clapped out school bus, so not very comfortable. It was a long 6 hour return bus trip to see a small town like Kingston. Without the final 1 hour boat cruise through the fantastic lakescape of the 1000 islands, the trip would have been a waste of time.”
